Super Hero Bath Bomb

Final Super Hero Bath Bomb

BOOM! POW! SMACK! For the last blog of super hero month, we thought some onomatopoeia bath bombs were the perfect way to wrap up the month! We used water soluble paper to wrap these Energy-fragranced bath bombs in comic-book themed action words. Pop them in the tub and watch as the bath bombs fizz and the paper melts away, leaving your bath water soft and smelling wonderful.

**This recipe yields about three halves of the stainless steel bath bomb mold**

What You’ll Need:

1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
5 drops cornflower blue la bomb
2 mL energy FO
About 3 oz clear M&P soap
Water soluble paper
Stainless steel bath bomb mold (3 halves)
Paint brush

**If you are not local, you can get all of this and more at Bramble Berry! They will ship directly to you!**

Print graphics on water soluble paper (about two per page). Cut the paper into strips (8 1/2″ X 2″). Then cut a couple more blank strips (to use if you want them double wrapped).

Combine 1 cup baking soda and 1/2 cup citric acid. Mix well. Make sure to break up any of the clumps that have formed.

Add 2 mL energy FO and mix well.

Add about 5 drops of cornflower blue la bomb. Mix well.

Press bath bomb mixture firmly into one half of the stainless steel bath bomb mold. Repeat with the other two halves, or until your bath bomb mixture is gone.

Pop the bath bombs out of the molds after a couple of minutes. It helps to squeeze the mold slightly.

Melt 3 oz of clear melt and pour soap.

Place one of the strips picture-side down and place bath bomb on top of graphic (flat-side up).

Wrap one side of strip around bath bomb and use melt and pour to glue onto bath bomb. Repeat with other side of strip.

If you would like to double-band your bath bomb, repeat the above process, first with a blank strip, and then with a pictured strip. Have the strips be wrapped in opposite directions, as shown in the picture below.

Pop them in the bath and watch as the paper dissolves away with the bath bombs!
